7. Natural Beauty
Outside the city, just beyond the municipality boundary, the entire active Mexico flourishes elegantly. Imagine it: Oaxaca Mountain is blanketed by mist, and ancient mezcal breweries surround agave fields. A maze of secluded canyons five times deeper than the Grand Canyon is the Copper Canyon.
Furthermore, Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve has Jaguars, alligators, and manatees that inhabit the rainforests. One place, and one place only, but Mexico.
8. Vibrant Markets
Markets in Mexico are not just for shopping; they are living scripts! There, you will find cool handmade crafts, textiles, pottery, and jewelry, and the best places to visit are Mercado Viejo in San Cristobal de las Casas, Mercado de la Ciudadela in Mexico City and Mercado 28 in Cancun. Beyond that, there you will see the world of Mexican art and crafts as it is, and I think you will get the best to buy there!
