The journey from Hue – Hoi An to Da Nang is a trip that I plan to go on when I just come back Vietnam but never had enough time and friends to go along. The journey from Hue – Hoi An to Da Nang in only 3 days and 2 nights to explore. Here is how it all went down for Vietnam travel.
This time, I found a friend and cheap ticket ( more than 800,000 VND / two way from Saigon – Da Nang). We planned to “escape” to these three beautiful cities. If you are interested in my trip, then you can read my article.
Only 3 days and 2 nights to explore all these cities, so we planned quite detailed for each city, saving every second of the trip.
1. Welcome to Da Nang
We chose this city as our first destination because it has known as beauty and vibrant city.
Arriving at the airport around 08:30 in the morning, we found the way to a hotel in Da Nang to pack our luggage and prepare to explore a new land.

For the convenience of traveling in Da Nang, we rent a motorbike by the day from Huu Long, their motorbike is quite new so it is suitable for all climbing. The price is reasonable from 80,000 VND to 120,000 VND/ day. It is important that the owner brings the motorbike to the hotel for us, so we can save the time to pick up the motorcycle.
After receiving a motorcycle, the first thing we do is find a place for having breakfast, because we took an early flight makes us feel hungry. After our discussion, we went to the famous place called My Quang Ba Mua No 19, Tran Binh Trong, Dong Da, Le Hong Phong, Hai Chau District to solve our hungry “problem.”
2. Travel in Da Nang
The first destination in the journey is Ba Na Hills, this time in Ba Na is the most comfortable time to come to visit because of less tourist, do not need to line up for a long queue for the cable car. To think about coming here to play is really good, with only 500,000 VND for cable car tickets we were able to play quite a lot of games here. Not to mention Ba Na hills, there are many interesting places to take a photo such as the only wax statue in Vietnam, the d’Amour Flower Garden, the Debay Old Cellar, etc.
Having food in Ba Na hills was quite expensive, so we bought some food and then back to the city to have lunch. We visited a restaurant called Hi Xoi at 144 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Da Nang. There are many different types of sticky rice ( Xoi) sweet/unsweetened; you have a lot of choices. I ate Xoi Xeo with 35,000 VND and felt full.
In the afternoon, we went to visit Linh Ung and Ngu Hanh Son Pagoda – 5 mountains named Kim Son, Moc Son, Thuy Son, Hoa Son and Tho Son located about 8 km south of Da Nang. All the way to the pagoda we feel the quietness of this place. Occasionally, the temple bell makes a small sound, which makes it difficult to describe the emotions, only knowing that we are relieved to each step to the temple.
The night comes slowly; we tell each other should go back to the hotel to change clothes to enjoy the evening in Da Nang city. We asked each other to came to Nguyen Van Thoai St, to having roast chicken feet (Chan ga nuong) and roast chicken wings (Canh ga nuong), drink some beers and then watch the street live
You can visit any different restaurant to eat because the price is quite similar about 5,000 VND/ leg and 10,000 VND/ wing.
3. Danang – City of bridges
Da Nang at night is wearing a lot of colors, more active and cheerful than the day so much as if everyday trouble has given way to the shimmering scene of the night.
Feeling full after having dinner we found the way to go to Dragon Bridge ( Cau Rong) to watch the fire from Dragon at 21:00. This bridge is known as one of the 30 most beautiful bridges on the planet, and each is designed very nicely.
Besides the car lane, there are also two lanes for pedestrians, so you can take a photo with the bridge.
We know that when we come to Da Nang will be euphoric, but we did not think that it will be so much fun, from the food to the scenery that make us feel surprised and enjoyed. If we have time we come back to Visit Da Nang, we will spend more time in this city. About 23:00, we came back to the hotel to relax and prepare for the next day in Hoi An and Hue.
