Picture this.
You and your kids are doing your yoga routine until your doggy thinks it’s a good idea to join you.
Every day, our family has a great routine. We all stretch and do some yoga moves together.
And of course, our dog has to join in the ritual. But in her way.
Does your dog do some funky dance where she scratches the mats with both feet? Ripping the foam. This is what our old mat looked like after her ‘joining’ in the stretching session one too many times.
My goal was to find a mat that was beautifully designed, easy to travel with and most importantly of all – to handle my dog’s weird scratching/digging dance that destroys most of our furniture and, as you can see.
That’s how I stumbled upon Yoga Design Lab.
Why Yoga Design Lab Stands Out Above the Rest
I have looked at many different yoga mats, since we have four people in the family that needs them.
- Design – I truly believe this company has the BEST selection and the MOST creative designs I’ve ever seen. Look at some of their more popular designs here.
- Material used – It is made of natural tree rubber. And is bonded to an ultra-absorbent microfiber towel layer. And the best part about the materials it is also made with, either, biodegradable or recycled plastic bottles.
- Price – for the design and the material – they are really well priced. Because I know, now that I have a chance to own it, it will last me longer than most of my other mats.

Interesting Yoga Design Lab Company Information
Yoga Design Lab was the product of the owner visiting Bali and seeing yoga mats being manufactured with unoriginal designs or boring solid colors.
“There must be a way of creating a highly functional product that was also aesthetically beautiful, right?” they thought.
And that’s how Yoga Design Lab was born.
It is now a brand known for blending fashion-forward design elements with innovative functionality and bio-renewable consciousness. On top of that $1 from every purchase goes to support Urban Youth Yoga Programs in need.
