We’re so lucky to have so many options when it comes to choosing how we vacation. It’s almost become a sport in itself there are so many options out there. Most people think, however, that when they go on holiday, they have to stay in a hotel, otherwise they’re missing out on luxury.Top three advantages that staying at a lodging holiday versus staying in another hotel.Learn all about the lodging holiday travel tips.
But I don’t think this is the case. Today, I’m going to make the argument that you can actually have a better time in a holiday home than you could by staying in the most exclusive hotel.
3 Reasons to Stay at a Lodging Holiday
Better For Storing Valuable Equipment
If you’re anything like me, you treat your holidays as a place to have an adventure. The problem, however, is that adventuring requires a lot of equipment. Perhaps you’re a keen mountain biker with a valuable mountain bike. Or maybe you love skiing and want to bring along all your own equipment.

Often hotels just won’t be able to provide facilities for all your gear. And even if they do, you can’t guarantee that you’ll have exclusive access to it. That’s one of the reasons why accommodation providers, like park city rentals, think staying in a holiday home is a good idea.
You get all the extra space you need, plus bags of privacy to ensure that your valuable equipment is not at risk.
Gives You More Flexibility
Most hotels only offer meals at a certain time of day and them also only offer set meals. For people who like getting up and following a regular meal plan hotels might be ok. But for people who want to eat when they want, or heaven forbid, actually eat healthily on holiday, hotels just get in the way.
In your own holiday accommodation, you get to cook what food you want when you want it. I think this is exciting, particularly if you are staying somewhere exotic. Why not use local ingredients to make local recipes?
Although you have to make the food yourself, it is cheaper than eating at the hotel restaurant so you could be saving money.
Bring Everyone Together
It’s often forgotten than hotels just aren’t that great for bringing people together. Yes, they might have a shared communal space for everyone to go in the evening. But this has to be shared with people outside of your clan.
In a holiday home, you don’t have to worry about other people pooping on your party. Holiday homes usually come with a large space to get everyone together. You can play games and have chats into the night and nobody is going to tell you that it’s time for the bar to close.
Everyone Can Come
Lastly, one of the great things about holiday homes is that everybody can benefit. If you’ve got elderly relatives who would like to spend time away with the family, there will be some holiday homes with suitable layouts. For example, those with a wheelchair ramp and a downstairs bedroom.
Some holiday homes will also allow you to bring along your beloved pooch, so you don’t have to worry about the dog kennel whilst you’re away.
