I love coming to the Osa Peninsula, the South Pacific region of Costa Rica because for too many reasons that I wouldn’t be able to tell you. But some of the main ones are the fact that it hosts more than half of Costa Rica’s wildlife and it’s where the Corcovado National Park is located. Here are the top 3 Hotels in the Osa Peninsula!
The place offers some of the most breathtaking and untouched sceneries that you get to enjoy. There are also tons of wild and secluded beaches for you to relax in.
I highly recommend visiting this area of Costa Rica and if you do come here are three great hotels for honeymoons and family vacations.
The Top Osa Peninsula Hotels
1. La Paloma Lodge:
La Paloma Lodge is a beautiful eco-lodge located at the top of a hill and overlooks the Pacific Ocean in Costa Rica’s isolated Drake Bay, the northern tip of the Osa Peninsula.
The resort is nested over 12 acres of land, and the ranchos offer magnificent views of the ocean. All of the ranchos are also open air. It also offers 3 different lodging options: The standard rooms, the deluxe ranchos, and the sunset ranchos. There is also a larger and more private beach house that you get to rent out.
If you are looking to explore the area and keep yourself busy with tours, they also offer many of them, from romantic horseback rides to adventures in Corcovado National Park.
2. Bosque del Cabo Lodge:
Bosque del Cabo is another beautiful eco-lodge nestled in the middle of Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula. The hotel is located within a property of 75-acre forest reserve that offers spacious bungalows and houses.
All of the rooms in this lodge have beautiful ocean views and great garden views too. Plus, the bungalows are scattered around the rainforest. The hotel offers several lodging options, including numerous different cabins and a few private homes for those visiting with families or looking for something quiet.
The place is owned by a US family who moved to the area with the idea to help preserve a piece of the local forest.
3. Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge:
Casa Corcovado has a great location. It is a luxury jungle lodge over a 170-acre private reserve bordering Corcovado National Park.
This is another hotel that offers private bungalows that are spread around a garden for maximum privacy. Can you tell we enjoy being on our own in private places?
The hotel also offers 3 lodging options: The honeymoon suites, the junior suite, and the deluxe bungalows.
