Backpacking is an adventure that travelers from around the world enjoy. It’s an ideal way to travel on a budget and see and experience sights, sounds, and people that you otherwise would have missed. But staying fresh and clean while backpacking can be tough. When I came across a coupon for a product called Femfresh, I decided to check it out. And this got me thinking about other backpacking essentials that you may not necessarily have thought of bringing along with you.

A Couple of Bandannas
You may have already thought of bringing along a bandanna to tie your hair down on an otherwise bad hair day so that you can look your best no matter how long it’s been since you last got the chance to give your hair a good wash, but there are many other uses for bandannas too.
For example, a bandanna can act as an impromptu napkin, towel, pouch, or tourniquet for emergencies. Bring along at least two, as they’re super easy to wash in a sink and dry quickly. Plus, they’re light and don’t take up much room at all in your backpack.
Combination Products for Looking Great
When it comes to looking great while backpacking, the key is to invest in plenty of those handy combo products that they sell at your local supermarket or drugstore. Combination shampoo and conditioner, for example, is a great idea, as is tinted sunscreen that gives you a more evenly toned complexion while protecting your skin from the sun.
Pretty Dresses
While your main goal while backpacking is to be as comfortable as possible, there will be days and nights when you want to get a little dressed up and enjoy yourself by having a fancier than usual dinner with friends or your traveling partners. To look your best, pack a day dress or two, along with a few nighttime dresses that you can don when you want to meet new people or enjoy the company of those you’re traveling with.

Jackets
No matter where you’re going and no matter how hot you think the weather will be, never forget to bring along a couple of jackets. Remember that nights can be chilly and climate can be unpredictable. A light jacket is fine for cool weather, even if you’re backpacking through a desert climate, because the nights will dramatically cool down. But don’t forget to also bring along a waterproof jacket, preferably with a hood, that will protect you from downpours and rain showers.
Backpacking is a lot of fun travel, but as a woman, you want to be sure you don’t forget to pack certain products that will keep you looking and feeling great. From products that protect your skin to those that can give you a refreshed look in minutes, there are plenty of great, lightweight items to choose from that are definitely worth investing in. Then go ahead and explore, take plenty of pictures, make loads of memories, and have the time of your life.
