3 Tips to Save Money on Your Next Trip
Look for Discounts
OK, I bet you are already looking for discounts and thinking that this isn’t anything new. What I don’t think you are doing is going to websites that are 100% dedicated to finding and organizing all of the discounts and coupons out there and listing them like Easemytrip discount coupons. There are discounts for touring everything from flights, to hotels, to tour packages.
So don’t just look at the discounts and offers at hotel pages.
Know When To Get The Best Prices
If your idea is to travel during the high season, it is always a good idea to start looking for tickets at least 3 or 4 months ahead. It is common to find things like flights, tours and hotels rooms cheaper.
If you don’t, this also gives you the flexibility to change the dates of your trip instead of having to pay extra because that is the one flight you need to make it on time.
Use the local Currency
The key for this one is exchanging money at a local bank, the one with the best rates that you can find and using cash for everything else.
I know what you must be thinking: “Most restaurants and shops take dollars” Yes, but the exchange rate that they use is often ridiculous! Way higher than the one that banks provide. So everything ends up costing more.
There are also places where sellers are more willing to give discounts if you offer to pay them in local currency.
