Today we’re going to be talking about Toku Baru restaurant in Antigua, Guatemala. Are you guys ready for an adventure? Let’s begin.
Toku Baru, Antigua
Toku Baru is one of the oldest falafel-Arabic Mediterranean-style restaurants in Antigua, Guatemala.
It began as a tiny little dive serving falafels and kebabs with yummy sauces, and it has grown to be a bigger restaurant. It still totally holds that diving edgy kind of style to it. Not only that, but it’s without a doubt, my husband’s favorite restaurant in all of Antigua. He loves their falafels. And when you get a falafel, which is like $5, it’s enormous.

Like, I have to say, it can easily feed two people with its yummy sauces. And they have all these different types as well as lentils, salsa, kebabs, they have rice.
They have grown their menu a little bit, and they have a huge beer menu as well (gallo beer included!). So if you enjoyed that kind of dive style but good quality food and not expensive, Toku Baru is without the top one for this.
Conclusion
So I really recommend it. As I said, it’s my husband’s absolute favorite. We’ve been going here for the past 14 years, and it still holds the same taste and flavor, so it hasn’t lost that with it. So this if you enjoy just grabbing a falafel, this is the place to be. On the other hand, if you’re looking for Indian food, head to Indian Accent, it’s a must try!
