  1. Indonesia

When you travel to Indonesia you can expect amazing views, tons of shopping, relaxing spas, scuba diving, and copious amounts of some of the best coffee the world has to offer.

Grab your camera and head to Ubud. There are a lot of gorgeous sites here so you’ll want to take plenty of pictures. While you’re here you can venture into the boutiques.

You’ll find a lot of stuff that actually won’t hit your wallet too hard. If you’re feeling adventurous you can try your hand at scuba diving or pick up some cat poop coffee. Yes, the name sounds disgusting and you’ll question our judgment when we tell you the concept behind it but you won’t regret trying it.

Small cat-like animals called Civets are given coffee-berries to eat. Once they eat them their digestive-enzymes set to work to process the bean. Then they poop the bean out and it’s made into coffee.

It will be the strangest thing you’ll ever drink but it’s some of the best coffee you can get. Be warned it’s also the most expensive.

  1. Brunei

Brunei doesn’t have much but for solo travelers, it’s a dream come true. It’s quiet, peaceful, and you won’t run into many crowds when you’re trying to take part in the attractions.

There isn’t a big party scene but something you will find is history. Head over to Kampong Ayer and take a boat tour of the huge water village. It will be both a fun and educational experience.
