Finding all natural bug repellent for kids products is tougher than one thinks, and it is one of my family’s travel necessities. After a bad experience with mosquito spray my baby almost has a phobia towards them. Yet, he’s one of those kids that mosquitos and flies find him no matter where he is or how covered his little body is and feast on him for hours. Call it sweet blood, I call it a royal pain in the butt for him!
When I found Beat It! All Natural Insect Repellent something felt different about it. Many companies tout the all natural ingredients. Most have the fine print of ingredients that aren’t completely organic. So when they are used, people with ultra sensitive skin (like my son) feel them.
However, aside from Jade & Pearl’s fantastic ingredients and complete transparency of them, it was the look of the product. Presentation is everything and when I showed my baby this bottle he got excited. It looks like a big, funky bug and he was simply all over it.
Luckily when we received it in the mail, he was still into the whole bug thing in a bottle and I was able to spray away.
The benefits and effects of the all natural bug repellent:
- No stinging at all – which a lot of repellents tend to do
- The spray lasted all day long
- Deet Free
- It’s against ALL BITING BUGS such as: mosquitos, flees, ticks, flies, baby bed bugs, sand flees and the list goes on and on
- It smells great
- The bottle is simply too much fun to look at!
For the price you really get a lot. You don’t need a lot of spray and it lasts over eight hours. Plus, you can sleep with it.
I got one for our home and one that comes in a travel size bottle one as well, since we tend to alway be planning our next fun family vacation.
The fact that it smells great and was made for sensitive skin without irritation, I’m able to have one less thing to worry about and look for. We have found our bug spray!
Where to Find it:
Jade & Pearl actually has a lot more than just repellents. I found them while searching online for the ideal bug protection for my son, and will now be checking out their other items as well.
I found their customer service to be helpful, quick and personal. Definitely check them out but remember to encrypt web traffic when shopping online!
I started to avoid using chemically made insect repellents since organic products become available in the market. I need to be cautious especially that I’m using it for my kids. Thanks for sharing this.
I totally agree. The chemically saturated repellents do more damage than the insect bites.
nsect bites and stings are common and usually cause only minor irritation. However, some stings can be painful and trigger a serious allergic reaction.^.’:
