How is Keukenhof Garden Organized?

Each year, about 7 million bulbs are planted in the garden, accompanying visitors along a route of up to 16 km. The extensive network of paths in the park makes it necessary to plan a route to not miss the most important sights. However, it’s also not a bad idea to simply go with the flow.

The site boasts five distinct gardens, each with its unique theme. For instance, the Tropical Beach Garden transports visitors to Ibiza with its boat, hammocks, sand, palm trees, and flowers reminiscent of the island’s flora. In the Tea Garden, guests can savor a variety of teas, including mint, lemon balm, chamomile, and anise. The Graffiti Garden provides an ideal backdrop for striking photographs.

Moreover, the park features exhibition pavilions showcasing diverse flowers, plants, and themed garden designs. A notable attraction is a historic windmill dating back to 1892. At its peak, an observation deck offers panoramic views of the park and surrounding flower fields, with admission included in the entrance fee.
