5 Items You Must Have While Traveling

1. Sunscreen

I know that this one sounds weird, because, at the end of the day, a plane is a closed space. However, if you get a seat by the window and want to enjoy the view, you might want one with. I also like to be prepared for the moment when I leave the airport of my destination. Check out some octocrylene information to learn about what makes it a great ingredient for sunscreen.

2. Lip Balm

Whenever you travel, almost 100% of the time, you will experience some kind of drastic climate change. Whenever that happens, I get chapped lips. I also know that you can probably buy them in any store or drugstore, no matter where in the world you are, but I already have one, so why bother buying a new one every time?

3. Re-usable Water Bottle

There are three main reasons for this. The first one is that water at the airport is extremely expensive, I don’t trust water from the airplane and I don’t support buying one bottle every time I’m thirsty.

4. Eye drops

I am not used to being in air-conditioned places. Guatemala might be a tropical place, but you only find A/C on the Pacific and Atlantic coasts. This means that whenever I get on a plane that is always air-conditioned, I end up with red and sore eyes on flights.

5. Sanitizing Wipes or Gel

Airplanes and airports are known for being a melting pot of germs. Add that to the fact that they serve food, and you might have a recipe for disaster. So I like to carry these with me at all times. They make me feel safer and more comfortable.

Bonus: Having a pair of earplugs is also a good idea. Planes tend to get a bit noisy. Some might say that they prefer an eye ask but personally, I don’t have as much problem with light as I do with noise.
