One of the best things to come out of the advances of technology is that it is easier than ever to still feel close to the ones you love when you are apart. With tools like Facetime and Skype then it is easier than ever to have a Valentine’s virtual date. You can do this even if they are on the other side of the world. It might be cheesy, but you can still have a romantic dinner date with each other using your phones. You just must sit opposite your device and have the meal that you would have had if you are together. You can even order meals to be delivered to your partner so that they don’t have to worry about cooking or cleaning and can concentrate on the date. 

Surprise Your Partner with an Unexpected Gift

This is a great thing you can do even if you are apart. You can surprise your partner by having a gift delivered to their place of work, or even at home. That way they will know that you are thinking of them even though you are apart. If you want to surprise the person who is away, then you can always call the hotel they are staying in and get the hotel concierge to help you. Whether this is flowers, a gift, chocolates, a singing telegram, the latest video game, or whatever will make them feel special. If you are not around, then you can enlist the help of a close friend to help you surprise your partner.
