Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, Chicago has been a popular tourist destination throughout history. Getting around the city for travelers is easy as there is the L train and plenty of buses. It is also possible to charter a bus around Chicago for large groups traveling together. This means whether your club trip is for 50 or 100 people, you can stay together as a group and navigate the city in comfort.

Famous Landmarks in Chicago
So if you are in Chicago, you’ve got to eat at Hamburger Mary’s. Famous for its delicious hamburgers and onion rings, you can also catch a show in Mary’s Attic. It’s Mostly dragging and cabaret, so expect a boisterous crowd and a little risqué humor. Or why not attend their monthly dance party, the tea dance? As you can probably guess, Hamburger Mary’s is an LGBTQ-friendly location but is fun for everyone.
Belmont Theater District
If it is the culture you’re looking for, why not try the Belmont Theater District? 30 theaters in a one-mile radius, means that whatever you’re into, you’re bound to find something you all like. National Museum of Mexican Art
Located in the Mexican Pilsen neighborhood, the National Museum of Mexican Art is a treat for culture vultures. There is an extensive permanent collection as well as seasonal exhibits to view. Check out the fantastic Ephemera collection with calendars and postcards from the 50’s.
Lincoln Park Zoo
One of the largest Zoo complexes in America, the Lincoln Park Zoo is family-friendly and definitely worth a visit. No matter what sort of creature your little ones are into, they have it here. Go to the reptile house to see some snakes and geckos, or check out the big cats including Leopards, Tigers, and Lions. They even have a super fluffy big-pawed snow leopard, but be careful, I don’t think he is as cute as he looks! There is also an extensive monkey collection and a huge range of birds to check out. The zoo is pretty big, so you can make a good day of it.
Another very family-friendly activity is the Navy Pier. There is a lot to do down by the water, so check out their website before you go and do your research. Try a tall ship or dinner cruise, take a ride on the Millennium Wheel, ice skate or grab a snack from the food court. The choice is up to you. There are also plenty of beaches in Chicago, even though the weather isn’t always perfect for topping up your tan!
