What you should pack for your trip depends greatly on whether you travel in the summer or winter months. If you’re traveling in the wintertime, be sure to pack a heavy coat, boots, hats, and gloves because it can get very cold. Typically, temperatures get to be below freezing for most of the winter season with lows below 0 degrees Fahrenheit. If you’re traveling during the summer months then you won’t need to bring as many warm clothes but it is still important to dress appropriately for the weather. You will want to bring sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, light clothes, and a light jacket for the nighttime.

What to Visit

There are many great places to visit in Edmonton but some of our favorites include the West Edmonton Mall, Whyte Avenue, and Elk Island National Park.

The West Edmonton Mall is one of the largest malls in North America and it has something for everyone. You can find stores like Abercrombie & Fitch, Apple, Zara, and more. There is also a waterpark, amusement park, and skating rink inside the mall.

Whyte Avenue is a great place to go for shopping, dining, and entertainment. You can find many unique shops here as well as popular chain restaurants like The Keg and Earls. If you’re looking for something to do in the evening, Whyte Avenue is the place to be.
