Four Beatles Events You Really Should Not Miss in 2026

There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who like The Beatles, and those who eventually admit they do. Somewhere between the first chord of A Hard Day’s Night and the final piano note of A Day in the Life, the band managed to lodge itself into culture in a way that set the bar unreasonably high for everyone else.

So what does 2026 look like for someone who wants to lean into that obsession properly? Not in a museum-quiet, respectful-nod kind of way. In a slightly chaotic, music-first, let’s-follow-this-properly kind of way.

Let’s start where it always starts.

Liverpool.

International Beatleweek features over seventy tribute bands performing across iconic Liverpool venues like the legendary Cavern Club.

1. International Beatleweek, Liverpool (26 August to 1 September)

If there is one event on this list that qualifies as a full-blown pilgrimage, it is this one. International Beatleweek is the largest Beatles festival in the world, and it turns Liverpool into something close to a parallel universe where it is permanently 1965 and everyone is having a rather brilliant time.

The Cavern Club runs live music across three stages, all day, every day, with a different band taking the stage every hour. There are tribute acts from every corner of the globe, talks, themed concerts, late-night parties at the Adelphi Hotel, and the annual Beatles Convention Day.

If you want to go a step further, a proper Beatles tour in Liverpool adds context to everything you are hearing, connecting the songs to the streets where they actually began.

This year adds an extra layer of significance: 2026 marks the 60th anniversary of Revolver, widely considered one of the greatest albums ever made, and many of the concerts will focus on that era. Expect ‘Eleanor Rigby’, ‘Here, There and Everywhere’, and ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’ to be played rather a lot.

New for 2026, the festival will take place at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall for the first time in Beatleweek history. It also returns to Port Sunlight Village on the Wirral, which has its own special place in Beatles lore: Hulme Hall there hosted Ringo Starr’s first official performance as a Beatle back in 1962. If you only attend one event on this list, make it this one.

2. Beatles Complete: UK Theatre Tour (March to September)

If you have never seen Beatles Complete, you are in for a treat. These are the people who became the youngest band ever to earn a residency at the Cavern Club. Their 2026 theatre tour sweeps across the country with admirable enthusiasm, taking in an impressively wide range of venues from intimate civic theatres to major city halls.

Highlights include Manchester on 4 July and London on 19 September. The tour also takes in Wigan, Holmfirth, Eastleigh, Stourport, Esher, Blackburn, Hull, East Grinstead, Troon, Stockton-on-Tees, and Scarborough, among many others.

3. The Mersey Beatles: Celebrating 60 Years of Revolver (Touring the UK)

Here is that Revolver anniversary again. The Mersey Beatles have been performing their celebrated tribute since 1999 and clocked up more than 600 appearances at the Cavern Club alone; their all-new 2026 show is built around the music of that landmark year.

Their tour is an extraordinary sweep of the country. Spring dates include Glasgow’s Pavilion (14 May) and Edinburgh’s Assembly Rooms (17 May). The summer leg takes in Nottingham (29 May), Swansea (30 May), and Northwich (12 June), before the tour resumes in September with Brighton’s Theatre Royal (10 September), Coventry (11 September), and Scarborough Spa (18 September).

The autumn run is where it really builds to a climax: Dundee (26 September), Wrexham (30 October), Grimsby (13 November), Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena (14 November), and Blackpool Opera House (19 November).

4. Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band (May to June, USA)

A note for the truly dedicated: Ringo Starr’s 2026 tour runs from late May to mid-June, but all dates are in the United States. Confirmed dates include San Diego (29 May), Salt Lake City (1 June), Tucson (3 June), Denver (9 June), Phoenix (12 June), and Los Angeles (14 June). No UK dates have been announced at the time of writing, so you would need to build a trip around it. For fans who feel that seeing one of the two surviving Beatles perform live is simply non-negotiable, it is absolutely worth considering.

You Know It’s Going to Be All Right

Sixty years on from Revolver, the music shows no signs of fading, and neither does the enthusiasm of the people who love it. Whether you spend a week in Liverpool or simply catch a theatre show in your nearest town, 2026 has plenty to offer. All you need is love. And possibly a ticket.
