This one is located in South Africa and is home to the highest variety on animal species including the big five. Since it so well taken care of you can even go on self-drive safari.
3. Okavango Delta
The Okavango River creates a unique inland water system that attracts many different animal species. It is among the best safaris one can have because you get to explore the place and see the animals on a boat.
4. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
In this World Heritage Site of Uganda you will be able to find one of the largest populations of mountain gorillas in the world.
5. Serengeti National Park (Tanzania)
Tanzania is the classic of African safaris. If you want to see lions hunting the grasslands of this national park are perfect. It is also a good place to go to if you want to witness the great migration.
Would absolutely love to get to Masai Mara! I went to Addo elephant park in SA and it’s worth a mention. Stood out for me as has all of the big 5, plus whales and sharks pretty near, and no malaria issue. Can’t beat a safari!
