  1. Chincoteague Beach 

Chincoteague Beach is a gorgeous white sand beach in the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. Many people like to come to Chicoteague Beach to perform activities like swimming, sunbathing, kayaking, boating, and crabbing. It is also a popular destination for bird watchers, anglers and photographers. There are lots of wild horses and ponies that wander around the beach. Lifeguards are on duty from 10 am – 5 pm during the summer season. Camping is not allowed on this beach. You can pay a visit to Toms Cove Hook which is about 10 miles from the main beach. There is no restaurant or shop nearby.

Surf City beach is a beach with quiet and laid-back atmosphere in Topsail Island in North Carolina. There are surf camps that provide surfing lessons for kids. People also come to Surf City beach to catch various types of fishes like flounder, mackerels, and crabs. Nearby, you will find souvenir shops, clothing boutique, and seafood restaurants. You can also go strolling along the Surf City Pier. Tourists can visit the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center to see the rescued sea turtles and learn how these creatures are protected.

  1. Ormonds Beach 

Ormonds Beach is a family friendly white sand beach with soft sand in Florida. Ormond Beach regularly has dolphin sightings. You can drive your four wheel drive on the beach if you have a local county pass. There is a small fee to drive on the beach. You must bring your own umbrella and chair as there is no vendor renting these items. There are plenty of lifeguards cruising the beach every day. There are flags that indicate the water condition so that you know what place is safe for swimming. Nearby, you can find facilities like park, shower room, and fast-food restaurants.  

  1. Flagler Beach 

Flagler Beach is located a few miles away from Ormonds Beach. It is the perfect place for flying kites, and taking a morning stroll. There are several attractions nearby including Florida Agriculture Museum, Betty Steflik Memorial Preserve, and Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park. At the Florida Agriculture Museum, you will get to explore 1930s restored buildings. You also get to meet with livestock like cattle, horse, chickens, ducks, and pigs. Betty Steflik Memorial Preserve houses over 200 acres of mangrove marsh. There is a wooden pier where you will find amenities like restaurant, restrooms and picnic tables. 

  1. Emerald Isle

Emerald Isle, also known as Crystal Coast, is a long stretch of sandy beach on the Atlantic Coast in North Carolina. Emerald Isle is a popular destination for people from the East coast. Many people like to come to Emerald Isle beach to stroll in the morning and at night. Often, there will be military jets flying above the isle. The North Carolina Aquariums is within a 15 minutes driving distance. You can rent a fishing charter to catch fish at Emerald Island. At Emerald Isle, you can also rent kayak, raft, boogie board, skimboard and deep-sea diving equipment.
