Have you ever heard about the Blue Ridge Railway? It is located in Georgia, USA and started operations in 1998. It was designed to cover the route between Toccoa River north, McCaysville, and Copperhill, Tennessee.
Visitors are able to take the train and go for a tour of this scenic and historical route between forests and mountains. The tour starts in the historic depot of Blue Ridge town. It was built in 1905, so make sure you take your time to explore it an learn all about its history before you hop on the train.
The town is famous for its pleasant and unique shopping, old-time atmosphere and friendly folks everywhere.

Well, actually there are three types of cars that you can choose from. They are: authentic indoor car, open rail car or Premier Class.
The whole tour is a four-hour railway excursion along the beautiful Toccoa River from Blue Ridge to McCaysville.
But it is not all about the ride. During the tour, you will get a two-hour layover that you can do to rest, explore and have lunch in McCaysville/Copperhill. Other things you can do during this time include: buying unique crafts and antiques, get some ice cream, or walk across the old bridge in town to enjoy views of the nearby river.
Tickets range from $40 to $54. The price depends on the season and whether you are an adult, child or senior.
