If you are moving to a country which speaks another language other than your own you will have to learn this new language in order to be able to comfortably live and get around. Many people make the mistake of assuming that they will be able to learn quickly however it can be very time consuming and a difficult process.

Make sure that you give yourself plenty of time in order to be able to learn the language and you will be able to adjust much easier with less frustration. Expecting yourself to learn immediately is unrealistic even for the most adaptable of people.

You will have to be able to support yourself when you are living in this new place. You should be prepared to have to find a job. Sometimes this can be stressful when you are in a foreign country and not familiar with the customs and language.

Make sure that you bring savings in order to be able to pay for yourself in the meantime while you are looking for a job. This way you can eliminate the extra stress of wondering how you will pay your bills.
