Glamping During the Holidays

There is a term that I keep hearing which has really piqued my curiousity – “Glamping”.

So I did some research on it and seems to be right up my alley. My kids are constantly bugging me to camp, and me NOT being a lover of camping but can handle the idea of it – if done on my terms i.e. staying in a tent, camper van or cabin in the middle of nature but still maintaining luxury and glamour while having all the comforts of home at the same time. This is what Glamping is all about – sounds pretty good, huh?

With this luxury camping, I’m ready to tackle a whole new way of travel.

And now have started to look into as an ideal activity for my family and me during the holidays. So I started my research and found tons of amazing options for glamping all over the world.

My Top 3 Places for Glamping this Holiday Season:

British Columbia, Canada – Mainly because when I think of the holidays I think of a snowy place and because I keep looking at photos of the region and it looks amazing. Staying at a luxurious cabin around some the main skiing destinations would definitely provide my family an amazing holiday experience.

Tuscany, Italy – on the other hand spending the holidays in a place taken out of a fairy tale is also quite tempting. It is a warm place known for its great food and small town feel that everyone in my family loves. Staying in a small, luxurious tent in the middle of some farm also sounds like a lot of fun.

OK, I’ll admit it, I never got the movie ‘Under the Tuscan Sun’ out of my mind.

Rift Valley, Africa – This one is a bit more adventurous. Luxury tents or cabins in the middle of the valley look like the perfect place to stay during a safari with my sons. This is definitely a unique way of spending the holidays.
