Montezuma is a small Costa Rican town where during the day you get to experience a laid-back ambiance and during the night enjoy a mellow hippie atmosphere. Because of that it attracts all sorts of travelers, especially artists, musicians, backpackers and eco-tourists. The most important thing about this town is that it keeps a small-town feel.

I love it because as a traveler you can still spend the day walking along a deserted beach with some amazing surf spots. This is a beautiful place framed by cliffs hidden in the forest and the Gulf of Nicoya where agile monkeys swing from tree to tree and colorful birds traverse the coast line.
