Dancing Lessons for Kids – Salsa Classes in Antigua Guatemala

Last week I wrote about a private salsa lesson my husband and I had in Antigua in a Dance school called Salsa Chapina. That time our instructor mentioned that they also had dancing lessons for kids so before arranging a class for all of our friends we wanted to take our little man dancing. So one weekend we took him to the Dance school.

This is what happened during the dancing lessons for kids:

At first I could see he wasn’t too excited about learning how to dance. Either way the class started and at first he looked really shy, not having fun at all! But only a few minutes later he was smiling, dancing and having tons of fun.

Alex (the instructor) was great I could really tell that he enjoys his job and has a great way to deal with kids. For my kid it was only salsa but there are also rumba, cumbia, bachata and meringue lessons for kids. So believe me, we will come back for some more fun.

At the end of the class we decided to join him and it turned out to be a super fun family adventure. As I see it this is the perfect addition to the trip of families, groups and even individual travelers that are visiting Guatemala.
