Spotlight Costa Rica – Jinetes de Osa in Drake Bay

Jinetes de Osa is a beautiful hotel located in Drake Bay, Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula. This is a small intimate hotel in the middle of the rain forest and in front of the beach, perfect for honeymooners looking for privacy. What makes this hotel so good is the fact that its away from civilization so you will be able to relax in total isolation. Add that to the fact that the only way to get there is by boat.

This hotel has only 9 rooms. This assures that the place will never be crowded. One thing that I loved is the fact that the rooms are kept so neat that I couldn’t find a single bug in it. That is a pretty remarkable thing when the hotel is in the middle of the forest.

This hotel also offers rooms with amazing ocean views. Last but not least the food was great and the portions had a good size.

Drake Bay is one of Costa Rican’s most isolated and tranquil places where any nature lover would feel at home. It is also close enough to the rest of the world and Corcovado National Park.

Here’s what people have to say about them and if you don’t believe them, I dare you to try it!

The staff and hospitality of this amazing rustic adventurous hotel has been my favorite hotel stay thus far. There are many wonderful things to do and explore in Drake Bay and the hotel staff make all of your dreams a reality. The food was amazing and the memories will stay with us forever. Thank you so much Jinetes de Osa Hotel for making our stay wonderful.

We had the best time of our trip to Costa Rica at Jinetes de Osa. The staff here was the friendliest of all of the hotels I visited. Marcela, Claudio and all the staff were always willing to help out and always seemed to have a smile. We enjoyed talking with all the interesting people we met at the bar. The rooms were nice and the food, especially the dinners, was great. I would recommend getting one of the rooms with an ocean view. The water is literally a few feet away from the balcony. Tours were informative and the guides very knowledgeable. Drake Bay is an incredible place and, unlike Manuel Antonio, felt like a really untouched location. I can’t wait to come back!!
