Spotlight Costa Rica! Casa Bella Rita Bed and Breakfast in San Jose

Welcome to the first Spotlight post. Every Monday I will have a different hotel, tour or restaurant for you guys to get a sneak peak into. So today I’ll start with a top of the line Bed & Breakfast not far from the airport called Casa Bella Rita in San Jose, Costa Rica. This intimate boutique hotel has only 6 luxurious guest rooms, perfect for family vacations and honeymooners looking for some peace.

Not many people expect from San Jose anything fancy, lovely or a place that would make an impression on them. Most are just happy to spend a night somewhere and then take off for their chosen destinations. That’s why I recommend this place, because once you visit this lovely, homey and welcoming Bed and Breakfast, you won’t want to leave!

Steve and Rita, the owners, have over 50 years of combined experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. They know how to make you feel good, serve up delicious food and have a good time. Yet, they do it because they genuinely love being Inn owners and meeting new people who come to them as clients and leave as friends.

Another great thing is that for an extremely reasonable fee you get a pick up or a drop off to the international airport. In Casa Bella Rita breakfast is made to order, non of that buffet wait-in-line stuff, and on top of that all that, a gorgeous view.

Here’s what people have to say about them and if you don’t believe them, I dare you to try it!

Steve and Rita provided excellent service and information that acclimated me to Costa Rica. They could not have made things easier with an airport pickup, late dinner (that was very good) and a glass of wine awaiting me upon arrival (for a very SMALL additional fee)!

Unfortunately, we had only one night to spend at Casa Bella Rita. It is a beautiful oasis close to the the airport in San Jose, and Rita and Steve take very good care of all their guests. They picked us up at the airport, dropped us off there for a ridiculously early flight, gave us a great recommendation for dinner, and their B&B is delightful.

Both of you are on my mind and wanted to thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. We will never forget your effort to please us in any way you could and also the time you spent to go and buy in the last moment dinner for us and cooking the food that was so tasty. You are really great couple and pleasure to be in your company.
