I got a great email from a reader wanting to learn more about Costa Rica especially through podcasts and online radio stations.

I’ve come up with a list of the more active and information filled sites.

Costa Rica Talk Radio
This site is all about Costa Rica, they play the duel role of blog and podcasts.

Their summary:

Costa Rica Talk Radio is a podcast featuring the latest news, tips, and information about Costa Rica. Please note that you do not need an iPod or iTunes or any Apple product to enjoy this podcast. You can subscribe for free for playback on any MP3 player or listen right from your computer. Enjoy the show!

Podcast Directory has many Podcasts all about the Gold Coast of Costa Rica, our beautiful northern beaches.

Their summary:

The show about Costa Rica’s ‘gold coast’ region of Guanacaste Province. Hear fun and interesting stories about vacationing and living in the beach communities along the north Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

Podcast Blaster, has podcasts from all over the world, but hosts some interesting podcasts by “
A gringo’s view on what it’s *really* like to live in Costa Rica.”

They cover everything from living in Costa Rica to vacationing to volunteering.

Costa Rica Podcast Show

Is another podcast Talk Radio all about Costa Rica.

Their summary:

Podcast Show offering Interviews, Videos, Sound Scene Tours, Travel Tips, and News about Costa Rica

Amateur Traveler
Hosts a whole series on Costa Rica.

There are plenty more, however, I’ve listened to some others and since they don’t really specialize only in Costa Rica they are more general and quick.
