#ULTRAMARATHON TRAINING WEEK 2 in REVIEW and STARTING WEEK 3
This week I broke my record ever – and averaged 7 kilometers per training session. Normally between 1:15 – 1:30 hours per training run.
I did 5 training sessions – am loving doing exercise with a purpose.
I also managed to wear out my running shoes and got new ones.
I’ll be honest, I’ve been using RS21 for a couple of years now, and they have been great. I guess it’s time to show my shoes how it’s really done.
I bought new ones until I get back to the US and go real running shoe shopping. Although, I have to say, I’m super impressed with the Champion running shoe line at Payless – who would have thought!
The best part of training is I get to enjoy where I live even more and train with my kids and puppy (once in a while)
WEEK 3 – my goal is to hit 8 kilometers and keep it there for the week, if not more!
