West End Roatan – A Tiny Town on a Large Island

Roatan Island is the largest of the three Bay Islands in Honduras. Even though there really isn’t such a thing as a capital of the island, West End is by far the largest town and most likely where you can get most of your essentials.

If you’re not staying in West End, the best fun is how to get to it.

By private boat

While watching the sunset – this is more for when you are leaving, unless you are coming here for the partying, which is quite active comparing to other parts of the island.

By Water Taxi – this was our main mode of transportation every day

The water – don’t forget the real reason you are here. For the amazing Caribbean sea. And boys will always find ways to push limits, no matter where you are in the world.

Half Moon Bay, at the end of West End is one of the best places to snorkel. Calm and pristine.
