Vegas is great! You’ll find many casinos where you can have fun and not worry about it being illegal. However, if you want something slightly different where gambling is also legal check out Costa Rica! It is quickly becoming popular as a gambling destination. The reason why is because there are over 30 casinos spread all over the country, where you can gamble legally.

The city with the highest concentration of casinos is San Jose and they are very easy to find.

You can even plan your vacation around it. Shouldn’t be hard find a resort with a casino close to the destination in Costa Rica that you want to visit. You get the chance to combine gorgeous beaches, lush forests and gambling on your vacation. You can do some research to get the dates of the international tournaments that are staged during the year.

If you are already there but it is not time for the big tournaments, ask about the smaller ones. They are held weekly in the different casinos.

Some of the games that are offered in most of the casinos are poker, 21 (also called rummy), roulette, slot machines and other tico card games.

If you are a true fan of casinos you can also visit sites like http://www.bellerockentertainment.com where you can play many of the games in the safety of your own home.

NOTE: Casinos are the only place where you can gamble legally in Costa Rica, to avoid problems with the law don’t visit any other establishments that offer gambling. It would be terrible if you get caught up with the authorities during your trip!
