Few hotels are just plain adorable. Silencio del Campo is so one of them! I have heard nothing but great reviews and comments about this tiny hotel and finally had a chance to visit and meet the owner and staff!
When you first arrive, it looks like the hotel is mainly in front, but if you ask to stay in the cabins towards the back it’s perfect.
The layout is like a small town, with tiny walk ways, bridges, streets and each cabin is a separate house with a porch.
In the very back is a lovely natural hot springs where you can lounge around all day or you can take a dip in the pool.
Parents, need a break from your kids – a playground always helped me!
A fresh typical Costa Rican breakfast is included in the price!
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were so friendly and happy to see me. The rates are just right – $150-200 per night. And the location is idle – close to everything yet away from the noise.
