Top Bed and Breakfast in Costa Rica – Casa Bella Rita Review
It’s no secret – I absolutely love and adore staying at B&B’s. Maybe it’s their coziness, maybe it’s the social aspect, maybe cause they are more unique than staying in big hotels, maybe because they are always located in fun locations (where you least expect to find one) or maybe it’s just because!
Whatever the reason staying at Casa Bella Rita, while in San Jose, Costa Rica, was definitely a GREAT choice!
Why I fell in love with this Bed and Breakfast in Costa Rica:
It’s tiny – I love small hotels. I hate to feel like I’m just a number and at Rita and Steve’s place, with 6 rooms, it’s impossible to get lost in the crowd.

The view – I have read lots about this hotel and seen pictures, but none mention or pronounce the view as they should. It’s SPECTACULAR! The house sits in a quite neighborhood but overlooks a gorgeous canyon.

Socializing – I’m not much of a social butterfly. But after many email exchanges with Rita and Steve, I simply felt like they were my buddies before arriving there. And that’s exactly how it was. Plus, the people that stay with them are so fun, that we even had a dinner party one night and it was great.

Breakfast – It’s my favorite meal of the day, and hanging out in the kitchen area watching it being made for me was just as much fun as eating it.

Home made breakfast

The B&B is perfect for families with spacious rooms and a pool and plenty of animals for the kids to befriend and keep occupied. Plus, for the price you can’t go wrong – $150- $200 per night!
