Jet Setting on Playa Sunzal, El Salvador
When I think of jet setters, they rarely visit El Salvador. I must admit this has all changed after our visit to Hola Betos Restaurant. From the outside the restaurant doesn’t look like anything special. As a matter of fact, it looks like a big tent and nothing more.

The place was located a three minute drive from our vacation rental and we had an idea that no matter what the restaurant looked, like the views were to die for and decided to celebrate our last sunset over looking the ocean.

All five of us, literally were speechless as we parked the cars and crossed the threshold between parking lot and the restaurant. It was as though we were in some top notch, restaurant on one of the Greek Isles overlooking the Mediterranean sea.

The views were all that we imagined and 100 times more. We arrived just in time to order our drinks and watch the sun go down over the horizon.

The food was seafood, as it seems to be in most restaurants in this area. However, here it is STRICTLY seafood! You can have your choice of ceviches, cocktails, soups, salads and main dishes all with ingredients of:
Shrimp, shell, fish, lobster or crab – or all in one as we ordered:

This is a jet setters dream place. I’ve been to many restaurants in my life, but I have to say this must be the most beautiful one yet. The food was nothing to die for, but the setting blew our minds!

The majority of the patrons looked like they were the upper class of El Salvador. Come to think of it, it looked like half of San Salvador’s richest were here enjoying the sunset over Playa Sunzal – I’ll give them this – THEY HAVE EXCELLENT TASTE!
