It’s no secret that I live in the tropics and my family and I do a lot of traveling in this neck of the woods. There are so many benefits to traveling and living in warm, tropical weather I can’t even begin to start.

However, the reality is, it can get super hot and sticky and don’t even get me started on the bug situation. I feel as though I am forever searching for the right clothes for me and my family to use when we go on trips.

After doing plenty of research I stumbled upon Rail Riders. First of all, the diverse selection they have for outdoor clothing is mind blowing. I didn’t know where to start and what to try out. So I decided on the Women’s Adventure Top. This was a perfect intro to the clothes they have and I will tell you this, I am never turning back.

Here’s the scoop on the Adventure Top I got:

1. It is so light, I barely feel that I am wearing anything at all

2. It’s UPF 30+. That means no sun rays are going to be doing me any harm at all!

3. We’ve been  going through our normal rainy season here in the tropics. Basically, it starts to downpour out of nowhere for 10 minutes. In the meantime, I get soaked. But with this shirt, it literally dries within minutes. It’s like a miracle!

4. Another thing about living in the tropics is that you can leave your house or hotel when the sun is scorching hot and then as it sets it becomes really chilly. This happened one time to me, and of course I forgot my jacket. Gratefully, I was wearing my Rail Riders shirt and, I kid you not, when the sun was out, I didn’t feel the heat and I usually sweat like no female I ever met. And when the sun went down, I didn’t even notice the drop in temperature until my husband commented that he was surprised I’m not asking for his jacket.

5. Plus, being long sleeve this wards off the nasty mosquitoes that seem to never get enough of my tasty blood.

The shirt may not be the sexiest one in my wardrobe, but when it comes to hiking, traveling, or heading to the beach. I am picking this one over all the rest.
