PinExt Beef Bourguignon – A Fancy Name For Beef Stew

I was a vegetarian for many many years, even a vegan for 6 years but slowly as I started producing babies, my body has been asking for protein other than soy. I have even started to venture out to fancy beef like dishes.

My husband and I went to a cute little restaurant, Hectors in Antigua, Guatemala, for a date night and tried the beef bourguignon. I’m still finding it hard to distinguish good beef from bad, so I’ll have to take his word for it and he said the presentation looks much better than the food!

The best part was that we were the only ones there and felt like the place was ours. The food otherwise was forgettable!

We ate at Hector’s and, frankly, had one of the best meals of our lives. The Duck breast with balsamic glazed grapes and potato was delicious as was the grilled beef medallions with Gorgonzola. I recommend you go and try again. But as you said, you have trouble distinguishing good beef from bad…
