Have you ever asked yourself what travel insurance is for? Well, it is a kind of insurance that you can get whenever you are going on a trip. It is intended to cover medical expenses, losses that may happen while traveling or any other miss fortune that might cost you more than what you expected.

You can get a local one when you are traveling within your own country or you can get an international travel insurance.

I personally am a believer of travel insurance. I love knowing that wherever I am I can rely on a good company in case of an emergency. Can you imagine being stuck at an airport for days during a storm with nowhere to go? That’s where travel insurance comes in, they will provide you with money or lodging until you are able to go home. What if you get horribly sick days before your trip and have to cancel everything? For me it is important to spend some extra bucks to know that my family and I are covered in case of any emergency.
