Travel Experta’s Interesting Facts – Hawaii Park – Guatemala

Hawaii Park in the southern region Guatemala is a sea turtle, crocodile, and mangrove conservation project run by ARCAS. It is the perfect place for nature lovers. Here you will be able to see a wide range of bird species, caimans & iguanas.
Some of the things these guys do here are: caring for injured animals, mangrove reforestation, environmental education, and turtle egg collection/hatchery management.
This is also a great place for travelers that want to be part of the sea turtle nesting experience from June to November from August to September.
