We just came back from a trip to El Salvador. I loved every minute of it! So in the next weeks I’ll be showing you some of the hotels and tours I loved the most.

First there is a kid friendly hotel called La Posada de Suchitlan in a town called Suchitoto. This is a beautiful, colonial town of El Salvador which name means “Lugar Pajaro flor” (place of the flower bird) and is located 47km away from San Salvador. The hotel is set on a hill so if you go to the deck you will get the most amazing views of the nearby Suchitlan Lake.

The hotel offers huge and gorgeous rooms in what used to be a colonial home with an authentic colonial-style decoration. There is also a restaurant where they serve traditional dishes of the area. They serve all three meals but the one that impressed me was breakfast, it was absolutely delicious.

Another big plus to me was that these guys were all super kind and friendly to my boys. There is even a playground where my oldest son had a great time and a swimming pool where we all had a great time.
