Looking for products that can make you traveling easier and a lot more pleasant I found a repellent for kids made out of natural ingredients and DEET free. It also said it repels fleas, mosquitoes, ticks and biting flies so I decided I wanted to try it.

I started using it shortly after I got it because we were in the rainy season of Guatemala and mosquitoes are everywhere during this time. I started using it on my 6 year old hoping it worked because I didn’t want to use toxic repellents in my boy. Surprisingly it worked really well. It did keep mosquitoes away from my boy and even helped to stop the itching of the existing bites.

The only thing I didn’t like was that you have to reapply constantly. Since it works based on the scent the effect doesn’t last long.

This is fantastic for travelers and even for everyday use. And as I found out later it also works amazingly in adults so you don’t have to carry around two different types of repellent. Plus they come in a small packaging so they are great space savers.

My conclusion is that this product is great for family trips. It will keep bugs away from you and your kids for sure.
