This time I’ll tell you about my experience in a kayaking tour we took along Rio Dulce in Guatemala‘s Caribbean side. For this tour you can simply rent the kayaks or hire the services of a guide. As always recommend going with a guide. This way you will learn a lot more and be a lot safer. For me this is a great adventure for everyone, families, honeymooners, adventurers and nature lovers.

There is not much to explain about this fantastic tour it’s just a scenic and relaxing paddle down Rio Dulce. In it you will be able to see some local wildlife and the beauty of the surrounding forest and in some parts of the river you might even see some tiny homes and villages.

Since I have a 6 year old boy and novelty quickly runs out in these cases we decided to go on a 1 hour tour but we loved it. You can do as many hours as you want. What I loved the most was that along the way I was able to see a lot of native birds.
