Costa Rica Family Vacation Testimonial – The Fung Family

We just got back home last night and I just wanted to thank you for all your help in planning our trip to Costa Rica. We had a wonderful time.

Here are some of the highlights and general comments from our trip:
1. Our favorite hotel was the Arenal Nayara – thanks for your recommendation. It was a beautiful hotel and the service was top notch.
2. We enjoyed the relaxation at the hot springs at The Springs Hotel. The hotel had such beautiful grounds – we were lucky that the clouds lifted while we were there and we got to see the volcano! (in fact, the only time it wasn’t clouded the entire time we were at Arenal)
3. Our favorite excursion was the Desafio canyoneering. I was so scared and I had my doubts about trying it, but I am so glad I did it. It was so exciting and the scenery was spectacular.
4. My son and husband also really enjoyed the Fourtrax ATV tour.

Overall, a fun time was had by everyone. We had a very enriching experience…we got to practice our Spanish, had encounters with many friendly locals, saw some amazing scenery and wildlife, and ate (too much) good food. Even driving on that road to Monteverde is something we will remember for a long time! Thanks again for all your advice and if I know anyone planning a trip to Costa Rica, I will certainly pass along your name.
