Weekly Travel Tip – Have a Great Road Trip # 10
Because traveling in Central America is very different than traveling in any other part of the world here is the last of a series of travel tips for those planning a road trip. Go here to see the first nine: Check the Engine, Take Some Food With You, Pack Some Garbage Bags, Stay Safe, Take Secondary Roads, Take Turns When Driving, Don’t Forget Your Sunscreen, Check Your Gas Tank and Consider Unexpected Stops.
During a road trip don’t relay completely in the GPS system of your car. I mean GPS is great but in developing countries such as the ones in Central America roads and highways are always changing. Plus as good as these devices are they are not perfect so they will sometimes make mistakes. So just to make sure you don’t get lost always bring a real, actual, paper map. One that doesn’t talk to you!
