Guatemala Travel – Romantic Dinner in Mezon Panza Verde. Antigua Guatemala

On Fridays I normally write something about a recent adventure with my family. But this time I wanted to write about a great romantic dinner I had with my husband in a beautiful hotel in Antigua Guatemala. It took place in a luxurious hotel of Antigua called Mezon Panza Verde. When we were making the reservation they suggested a dinner up in the roof of the hotel where they have a Cupula. This sounded great to me because it was just what I wanted: A super private and romantic evening out with my husband. But nothing could prepare me for what I found there. The entrance looked like any other hotel in Antigua. But as soon as we walked in I realized how beautiful this place is, the garden is absolutely beautiful! Before they took us to our table we had to do some waiting in the lobby which was ok because it wasn’t too long and it gave me some chance to take more pictures. Then a member of their staff took us to where our table was. To get there we had to walk across the terrace of the hotel, sadly it was a bit cloudy but we still could see the outskirts of the beautiful Agua Volcano. When we got there I couldn’t believe how absolutely beautiful it was! La Cupula is this beautiful tiny room where they had a beautifully decorated table. We also had a private waiter which was another big plus for me. An about the food all I can say is that it was very tasty and the dishes had a great look. This ended up being a perfect romantic dinner where my husband and I got the chance to relax and just be together. Don’t forget to check out more Photo Friday in Delicious Baby.
