Because traveling in Central America is very different than traveling in any other part of the world here is the seventh of a series of travel tips for those planning a road trip. This is another simple yet important tip for your health: Remember to have some sunscreen on at all time.

Central American countries are very close to the equator so the sun heat is very strong and you can get sunburned. Even when you are inside the car, it doesn’t matter if the car has tinted windows if you don’t have sunscreen on you will get sunburned. I know because it happened to me.
