Spotlight Costa Rica – Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Plantation & Inn in the Central Valley
Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Plantation & Inn is a luxurious boutique hotel located in the middle of Heredia’s cloud forest in Costa Rica. The hotel offers two luxurious master suites and eleven spacious and well decorated junior suites. All of their rooms include a jacuzzi, a mini bar and private verandas overlooking Costa Rica’s Central Valley. It is perfect for a romantic getaway of a family vacation.
We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was a great way to spend a long family weekend in a kid friendly hotel. An outstanding characteristic of this hotel was the staff because they are not only nice. They are also very thoughtful and helpful.
The rooms were so fantastic that even if we stayed in one of the smallest rooms of the hotel was still very spacious and comfortable. It had a living room and a private patio but what I loved the most was the huge and beautiful bathroom.
The restaurant offers so much more than delicious food. There is an amazing view of the nearby San Jose City. And the grounds are beautiful. I spent a lot of time exploring it as my son ran around.
It is definitely a great place to visit if you are in the Central Valley.

This was the second time I have stayed at Rosa Blanca and it is still one of the most comfortable and beautiful places to stay in Costa Rica. They are pretty close to the airport and will arrange pick ups and tours for you. I recommend their sustainability tour, it is super interesting, and it gives you way more respect for what they are doing to realize the strict guidelines to which they must adhere to. Service here is great. It had been a year and all of the staff that was there the previous time remembered me, very impressive. The rooms have quite a bit of charm and are all different, and the coffee is wonderful. You really can’t go wrong with this place. Oh, and the dinners they provide are exceptional, some of the best in the whole country, although I did prefer when they did group dinners with a set menu over the multiple item menu they currently have. Stay here! It is a particularly good place to end your trip on as it makes it easy to get to the airport on time.

Finca Rosa Blanca was a perfect ending to our stay in Costa Rica. It is absolutely wonderful, being a coffee plantation was just an added plus. The food was the absolute best we had during our time in Costa Rica. Chef Rodriquez treated us as his personal guests and we had incredible service from Luiz. The only problem was that we only stayed one night. I will return to Costa Rica just to stay here.
