Hi! Hola! Previt! Bon Jour! Ciao! Guten Tag! Sign up Now! for fun info on traveling to Latin America!

When you have a child you probably think it’s the end of your traveling adventures or that you will have to wait at least 15 years to go on a family vacation. Let me tell you it doesn’t have to be like that. I mean, yes you will have to be more careful but it doesn’t mean it can’t be fun.

What you have to know for sure is that you won’t be able to go to and from the touristic destinations as fast as you used to. That means you will have to spend a couple more of days in the place you are visiting. You also have to have in mind that kids need some rest and it can be stressful for them to be moving around all the time. What you can do is to limit the number of places to see to 4 or 5 if they are close. If they involve long car or bus rides just see 2 or 3 places. That is why finding a hotel that is in a central location from the places you want to visit and to come back to it at least once a day to rest is also a good idea. This way kids won’t be worn out that fast.
