We were married in Costa Rica Manuel Antonio. We went to Monteverde on the tail end of our honeymoon. We stayed at Finca Valverde and it was a fantastic hotel. The staff was fabulous and extremely helpful and friendly. Pay the small extra fee for the cabinas. They are romantic, very cozy and nice! I was so disappointed throughout our trip to find out that many places are American and European owned but this place is TICO OWNED! The staff and restaurant was great and we are returning in 2 weeks and staying there again and bringing some friends. The hotel is located in a perfect spot and we did not need a car there. We took cabs to Santa Elena and to Monteverde Cloud Forest. The grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. We LOVED IT!!

We just loved Finca Valverde! We opted for a cabin which was just perfect. The rooms are all hard-wood, the beauty of which can’t be truly captured in photos. The staff was super-friendly and the food at the restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced. The location could not be better. You’re so close to the center of the town but not too close. It’s just great. Excellent value, excellent food, excellent rooms, excellent EVERYTHING!
