Costa Rica Vacation Testimonial – Kimberly Hammett

I just wanted to say thank you for your help in saving my trip to the Manuel Antonio and Uvita area of Costa Rica. I have been to CR a number of times but never to this area.  I was unsure of what I was getting myself in to given the time of year and did not realize I would have difficulty booking lodging as I had always just flown by the seat of my pants and found a place once landing in the area.  I thought with it being the end of the rainy season there would have been much more availability.  After talking with you, I was grateful to have a plan prior to arrival.

The Falls in Manuel Antonio was AMAZING!  The people are wonderful.  The atmosphere is perfect!  The grounds are immaculate and you see wild life every day.  There is no need to even visit the park as you see more wild life just sitting in your hammock.  I was thrilled and enjoyed every minute of my stay.  MA is much more touristy than I would have imagined but The Falls gave me a little sanctuary in which to relax and be away from the busy touristy areas. Thank you for the recommendation.

As you later found out, I was so disappointed with La Cusinga in Uvita.  They looked so wonderful on the website and I can certainly see why you recommended them.  They seemed to be everything I was looking for.  Unfortunately, it was not at all what I had expected and thank goodness you were so quick to respond when I contacted you letting you know I was going to leave a few days early for another hotel. I felt extremely isolated there and was so let down the first day.  I really needed a car to be there.  I know they were very inflexible in allowing me to change my reservation.  It was very kind of you to take the hit despite their unwillingness to help.

Anyway, I know I had tons of questions,  I just wanted to be thorough about what I was doing since I was traveling alone.  Thank you for your patience with me, the wonderful suggestion of The Falls, and the help in getting out of an uncomfortable place.
