Spotlight Costa Rica – Turtle Beach Lodge, Tortuguero
By ·
Turtle Beach Lodge is the best option if you are planning on visiting the beautiful Tortuguero Village or Tortuguero National Park on your Costa Rican Vacation. The place is perfect for families or honeymoons due to its private cabins.
What I love the most about this place is the service. They are so helpful and nice but at the same time they don’t intrude with you and your relaxation at all. But let’s not forget about the food, because unlike many other hotels’ food it is very tasty.
I would highly recommend this beautiful lodge to anyone willing to have a great family vacation but especially to nature lovers. You will see many exotic animals running around freely in the surroundings. It is also a great place to take off to all the tours Tortuguero has to offer.
So next time you go to Costa Rica Take my advice, visit this beautiful lodge and let me know how it went!

Here’s what people have to say about them and if you don’t believe them, I dare you to try it!
I My husband and I had a great stay at Turtle Beach Lodge. The rooms were really clean and comfortable and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We saw much wildlife all around the lodge-monkeys, iguanas and horses on the beach. We highly recommend staying at Turtle Beach Lodge. It’s wonderful place for everybody.

Turtle Beach Lodge is a beautiful, serene place surrounded by trees, canals, and a beach. We purchased the 3 night package, which included all meals, a canal tour and jungle walk, and use of kayaks and canoes. The meals were served buffet style, and were always healthy & delicious; every meal included a new flavor of Costa Rica’s famous fruit drinks! Jesse, the manager, was very helpful and ready to assist with anything we needed. On the early morning canal tour, we saw green iguanas, monkeys, herons, bats, and even a sloth… the guides know just where to look for them. (The jungle walk, on the other hand, was very muddy, and we were attacked by hordes of mosquitos – bring your bug spray. ) August is part of the rainy “green season”… overall, the weather was warm and humid, and we got drenched more than once by sudden rain showers, but the beautiful greenery and blooming orchids make the rain worthwhile. We loved the green season at Turtle Beach!
