These types of stores are too common throughout Guatemala. This particular picture was taken at around noon on a VERY hot day. The store opened at 6 am.

On top of that, the worker usually sits over the meats and literally squats flies away all day long.

I can kind of deal with the fruit and vegetables enduring the suffocating heat, however, I totally draw the line when it comes to meats and dairy products!
