Costa Rica has two seasons:

The Rainy Season and the Not So Rainy Season

In other words, you’ll always get some rain. If you have an option to travel at different times and not the super crazy times like: December-January or March-April, I highly recommend looking into off-season travel.

The best times are from August – November. You’ll get incredible discounts, uncrowded hotels, beaches and parks, plus you can really get to know the real Costa Rica.
